I like Pre-Raphaelites and the Real Housewives

Saturday, November 27th, 2010

Well hello there.

Pomegranate wallpaper

Somebody wrote to me a while back and asked me to make a wallpaper with John Collier’s painting Priestess of Delphi, so I thought, yeah, sure, what the hell. So here’s a new wallpaper that ties in with two previous ones that I’ve made.

I’ve also made three new tiled backgrounds, all in blue. A shiny new penny to anyone who can tell me where the term "buffalo plaid" comes from.

November backgrounds

I uploaded 16 iPad backgrounds on Flickr. They’re either new colorways of previous designs or all new creations. I know ya’ll are getting one of those iPads dealies for Christmas, so here’s to making it fabulous.

Today I worked the 3AM Black Friday shift. YOU’RE WELCOME, shoppers of America.

They'd totally watch Real Housewives of Atlanta

Don’t be tardy for the party.

Graphics for Gadgets I Don’t Own

Hello.

I am finally getting around to updating this little site. I’ve got five new backgrounds for you to enjoy:

Backgrounds- April

I also uploaded a few new iPhone wallpapers to my Flickr page.

iPhone things

When I was out and about today I noticed the line of people in front of the Apple store waiting to buy their iPads. I figured that since lots of people are buying tiny new computers today, I might as well make some tiny new wallpapers to fit them. I believe I got the right dimensions for the iPad, but since it’s so incredibly new there’s some debate about what resolution these things use. I went with 1024 x 1024. If that’s not right, then please, one of you early adopters has to let me know.

iPad wallpaper!

I uploaded 24 designs to Flickr. Most of the designs have been seen before in some form on this website, but many come in exclusive sizes and colors.

I’m working on a new embroidery, and (because I never learn) a new font, so hopefully I’ll add those soon.
